I have eight years of experience in the classroom (K-2) teaching all subjects and 2+ years in pre-schools and tutoring. I have developed lessons that helped students go from reading below grade-level expectations to well above expectations. 

I attained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University and recently received my certification for Texas Reading Academies. I tutor in reading and phonics instruction and kindergarten readiness. 

I am passionate about helping students learn to read, helping them learn a necessary life skill. I love seeing students' excitement and joy when they realize they can read a book on their own, and seeing their confidence grow.
